Once again we have been blessed with a great WHO summer season and we all wait impatiently for the opportunity to assert our dominance over the riders to our North. Our annual ‘Beat Washington’ show was a great success! The weather was great, temperatures in the seventies and NO rain! Congratulations to our junior and senior high point winners, four-man and two-man team high point winners, and individual fast time award winners! (Note to Oregon Interstate riders: What word was repeated three times in the last sentence?) Before we wrap up the BW show, please let me personally thank Kathleen and Roger for the use of their property and their tireless work on maintaining the ground. Without Kathy and Mike Moody’s invaluable managing of the office we simply couldn’t function. What a great comfort you are! Thank you’s go to Leslie Davis and Marilyn Norris for handling the financial side of our show. If you liked being able to receive your winnings before Convention, they are the one’s responsible! Marilyn and Charlotte provided our announcing. And I think you will all agree, they were much better than having to listen to me!
