Our purpose is to promote among horsemen of Oregon the western horse and rider in pattern horse racing events. This organization shall be a non-profit, Mutual Benefit Corporation as required by the Oregon Non-Profit Corporation Act.

ATTENTION RIDERS MESSAGE FROM POINTS SECRETARIES~ Check the Pink Sheets at each Show to determine entries have your Name and Your WHO#, Horse name and Horse WHO#, and Captain Name for 4 man teams. If entry is incorrect, times may not count toward year end averages. If Captain Name is incorrect, a new Team is formed as in General Rules: Section 22 and if any Team Riders are not WHO Members that team time does not count toward averages or year end awards Attention Members and Show Secretaries: UNPAID 2011 DUES The members with numbers listed below are shown as paid for the current points year in the WHO records. If your membership number is not shown below, you are not paid for the 2012 points year that began August 1, 2011 and runs until July 31, 2012. Members have until Convention's over to re-join. If not on this list after Convention they will have lost individual times and their team times run since 8/1/11 and will be charged the non-member fee until dues are paid. If you number is not on this list and you have paid your membership since August 1, 2011 for the current year, please contact Lisa Rodriquez at [Lisa’s officer email address] secretary@westernhorsemenoforegon.com with proof of the payment. Riding at a PSHA Show At our annual meeting in November members voted to pass the following rule: Allow times run at Washington (PSHA) shows to count towards Interstate and annual awards, with the signature of the show secretary of that show and all applicable surcharges paid to the point secretaries within 48 hours for all of the events you ran in that day(s). Attached is a copy of the form that will need to be filled out and submitted in order for your times to count. This form will also be available on the WHO website.
